Natural Finish Porcelain  

Tiles tend to have matt finished flat or structured surfaces for walls and interior floors.  When fixing porcelain tiles to walls customers should satisfy themselves regarding the suitability of the substrate. 

Polished & Semi-Polished Porcelain

These also have flat or structured surfaces with a polished finish suitable for walls and interior floors They are not suitable for bathroom floors, other wet floor areas or external use. When fixing porcelain tiles to walls customers should satisfy themselves regarding the suitability of the substrate. 

Grip Finish Porcelain

These have a surface structure that provides a degree of slip resistance with a recognised designation eg R11 A+B+C. These can generally be used in wet floor areas and externally, however, conditions can vary and customers should satisfy themselves regarding suitability. When fixing porcelain tiles to walls customers should satisfy themselves regarding the suitability of the substrate. 

Glazed Ceramic Wall Tiles 

Glossy and matt finishes with flat or structured surfaces suitable for internal walls.

Glazed Ceramic Floor Tiles

Generally matt finishes with flat or structured surfaces for interior floors. These may also be suitable for bathroom floors but not for wet-rooms, other wet areas or external use.
